The Melvin Van Peebles Foundation will sponsor a fundraiser at The Players in New York City for people from the film and entertainment world on November 21^st 2008. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase. The event will be a 1920’s speakeasy featuring impromptu performances of music, comedy and dance. Participants will bid on performances from the audience to raise money. Select sponsorships are currently being negotiated. The event will take place from 8:00 PM until midnight at The Players, 16 Gramercy Park, New York City.
